- I am Nellie Kampmann. My blog, Haunted History of Columbus, Ohio, is a companion piece to my book by the same name. I love ghost stories, quirky history, and historical costuming. Since I work in a Civil War era historic house museum and volunteer at a restoration project for a mausoleum dating to the 1920's, those are the time periods I focus on. I do a lot of historical research and am always coming across interesting little stories. Every day is an adventure for me!
